About Our Practice

Shani du Toit is die prayktykeienaar sedert 2008. Sy het oorgeneem by PG Roos wat die praktyk in die 1960’s begin het. Daar word steeds voortgegaan met dieselfde liefde en toewyding en met dieselfde top kwaliteit diens waaraan ons pasiënte al dekades lank gewoond is. Sedert 2008 staan die praktyk bekend as Roos en du Toit Optometriste.

PG Roos was die optometris wat die langste gepraktiseer het in die geskiedenis van Suid-Afrika. Na 70 jaar se diens as optometris het hy in 2016 op 91 jarige leeftyd gesterf.
Ons visie is om professionele oogsorg te bied aan alle pasiente met die oog daarop om langtermyn verhoudings met ons pasiente op te bou.

Starting with an eye health assessment we can determine if you are able to wear Contact Lenses. Once you are cleared you are fitted and the particular types of lenses are discussed to determine the best option for your lifestyle.

From time to time you may want your Frames adjusted or repaired. Our skilled opticians can adjust the bridge, nose pads and temples to ensure the proper fit to your face.

Pediatric Optometry

Drivers Licence Screening

Save time at the Traffic Department and let us do your Drivers Licence Screening. You will need to bring a valid Identification Document (ID) along with you. Your screening will be done in co-operation with the National Department of Transport regulations to ensure acceptance.

Glaucoma Testing

Protect your vision from damage caused by glaucoma with regular complete eye tests. A Comprehensive Glaucoma Exam includes the testing of 5 factors before making a diagnosis.
